Skills for Around the Home - Part 2

Cleaning...the last thing most of us ever wants to do, and yet it is really important, to keep our enviroment healthy!

So, the best way to tackle cleaning chores is Just Get it Done!

What needs to be done to clean your whole house...make a list of the chores for each room.  Who does this in your house?  Do you have any ideas to make it easier to get the chores done?

Something I do it make sure I have everything I need to get the job done.  I have all my supplies in a bucket, easy to get to.  I have my cleaning cloths in the same place and I try to stick to a schedule.  So I clean the upstairs bathroom on Saturdays, I vaccum on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays...

Toxic Cleaning Supplies

There is a lot of talk about what is in our cleaning products.  Is it safe for the environment?  Is it safe for you to use?  Do the cleaning products contain ingredients that are cancer causing? Or are they manufactured in a way that is harmful to the environment?  Do some research and see for yourself, what chemicals you would like to be using...Start reading labels and looking for the harmful ingredients.  Are there alternatives that you could use?
